The goal is to not only teach important life skills but help to create a local network developed in the community - through crowd-funded efforts, we can work to create a physical location and establish a network made to uplift our youth and support our Latino/a (Puerto Rican) youth.
Our mission is to empower the youth and develop networks as well as a community base for the next generation. We will work to educate and encourage positive behaviors tirelessly as much as we are able.
About the founder
Justin Hernandez is a supervisor at Pratt & Whitney at the age of 23 - But this is only after having dropped out of college to pursue an alternate path. Through many struggles in life, he has gone to great lengths to do things his own way, regardless of what may be best. This stubbornness has defined his entire life but has led to the greatest victories; Through working in my career field, being hired at 20, continuing my secondary education, raising my son, and loving my fiancé (and our two dogs as well) - Every decision I have made will seem against the norm, but sometimes those decisions are what takes us the furthest.
